Class Descriptions

Fight Night Training

This class is a no uniform training night. The focus is on fighting tactics: stand up, ground, competition, street, and self-defense. This class is free for active and veteran military and first responders.

Tuesdays
Ages 6-12 6:00 – 7:00pm
Ages 13 and up 7:15 – 8:45pm

Karate Class

This is a traditional karate class. Students wear uniforms and earn rank. Students learn discipline, respect, traditional kata, learn to spar, and self-defense techniques.

Thursdays
Ages 6-12 6:00 – 7:00pm
Ages 13 and up 7:15 – 8:45pm

The cost to attend one or more classes per month is $20 per student or a maximum cost of $50 for a family. ACKA recommends that students attend both classes each week for the best possible training.

There are no testing fees. Once a student makes black belt, there are no monthly fees. A black belt is expected to help with classes and teach.
